P3i - Soft Machines: a materials immersion

Planet Caravan was recently asked to work on the launch of a new materials research centre called P3i. This entailed an exhibition as part of Design Week at the Royal Academy of Engineers, in which Planet Caravan film 'Soft Machines: A Materials Immersion' was shown.

The film not only uses shot footage of the cutting edge research happening at the centre but also contains some gorgeous archive footage found in 60s educational films which matched the aesthetic of the exhibition and helped to convey P3i's vision: creating new pathways towards future ways of living.
